What is the Vendor Fair?
UCLA ASDA is made up of 20 committees encompassing various aspects of dentistry, ranging from legislation, to oral cancer awareness, to research. In order to fund all of the exciting events each committee would like to hold each year without overcharging membership fees, UCLA ASDA hosts an annual “Vendor Fair” to raise funds. We are excited to see new events, projects, and opportunities spearheaded by our ASDA committees!
Previous Fair Highlights
UCLA ASDA experienced an outstanding number of vendors in attendance at this past Vendor Fair! 49 vendors were represented (2 fiftieth anniversary sponsors, 6 platinum sponsors, and 43 gold sponsors), with over 300 people in attendance. A combined total of $31,000 was raised through tremendous vendor support and outside donations, continuing UCLA’s tradition of raising the highest amount of money at a vendor fair by any ASDA chapter in the nation! This would not have been possible without our sponsors and donations. The night closed with a raffle, distributing over $4,000 worth in prizes, including three iPads. The purpose of the Vendor Fair is not only to raise money for UCLA ASDA, but also to bring together professors, clinicians, residents, dental students, and pre-dental students to see all of the new and innovative advancements in dentistry.
